General information and procedure

Authors are invited to submit abstracts in English for oral and poster presentations covering one or more conference topics. Each abstract must include a title, author name(s) and affiliation(s), and should not exceed 1,500 characters, including spaces, which is roughly equivalent to a maximum of 300 words. Please submit your abstract via your account no later than 12 July 2026, after completing registration. The scientific committee will select oral presentations for the programme from the submitted abstracts. Authors of abstracts selected for oral presentation will be notified by 31 July 2026.

Once you have registered successfully, you will be able to submit and edit your abstract using your individual account until 12 July 2026. Please visit the “Account” menu to submit one or more abstracts. To do so, please use the login details you created during registration. You can also use these login details to update your personal information until 31 July 2026. Make sure the e-mail addresses of your co-authors are correct to prevent bounces and to enable the organisers to contact them if necessary (e.g., for acceptance notifications).

Instruction for oral presentation and posters

To help ensure that the conference runs smoothly, we kindly ask all speakers to follow the guidelines for their respective presentation format.

Oral presentations
All speakers are requested to bring a copy of their final presentation on a USB stick. Please hand in your slides during one of the breaks before your presentation so that we can upload and test them.
Each presentation is scheduled for 20 minutes, followed by a 5-minute question-and-answer session and audience discussion. Please structure your presentation carefully to ensure you stay within this time limit.

Poster presentations
Posters will be displayed throughout the poster session, during which authors are expected to be present to discuss their work. The maximum poster size is A0 (118.9 cm high × 84.1 cm wide) in portrait format. Materials for mounting the posters will be provided by the conference organisers.
